Artsy Cafe: A Colorful Lunch

Artsy Café: A Colorful Lunch

It was the first time we tried Artsy Café. We usually dine at Mandarin Sky and Oedo in Banawe. Then, the owner of those restaurants and his staff mentioned Artsy Café to us.

The Ang Sens love food. We love to eat out. We stay loyal to some of our favorite restaurants and we keep coming back to where good food is.

Once in a while, we try something new.

Artsy Cafe, PANAY AVENUE Branch

Artsy Café has a branch in Maginhawa Street ( their first) but we just did not have the time to visit it.

Then, a co-parent from my son’s school, celebrated her birthday at the Panay Ave. branch ( Thanks Mommy Mylene de Leon!).

Since Panay Avenue was nearer to us, we decided to visit that branch.

THE PLACE

As my husband would always say, ” importante ang parking pag magtatayo ng negosyo” —therefore, he was quite happy that the area had a wide open parking space.

Artsy Café is located in a food park along Panay and Roces Avenue, in Quezon City.

The area houses other restaurants like Mandarin Sky and Komedor.

Everything in the place is, well, ARTSY.

The space is a charming place to hangout.
The cafe has a classy ambiance while decorated with a chromatic interior. Everything is pleasant to the eye.

It is like those houses described in books. You know that part where the family is invited to have dinner in a house owned by an eccentric character?

And then, the youngest child gets to describe the house later?

Artsy Cafe would have been the dining hall in that child’s description.

The restaurant serves mostly Filipino Cuisine.

WHAT WE HAD THERE

T-bone Steak

This should be my husband and son speaking—since they each had T – bone Steak. They loved it. The serving was large enough. The steak was nicely done and the vegetables were as delicious.

Lengua

I found this dish very tasteful, and pleasant to the tongue ( pardon the pun ).

The dish was said to be their best seller so that would have been the reason.

Gambas

I was not used to Gambas with corn so I was not as happy as I was with the lengua.

The Ang Sens

The food is reasonable and in general, the food is great.
