Last week, as my brother-in-law took his oath, as Captain (and topnotcher), he treated us to Movie Stars Cafe at the Seaside Blvd of SM Mall of Asia. It was my first time there, despite having heard of the place many times.
My son, my nephew and my niece enjoyed it more, of course. Who wouldn’t, when your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, is hanging out with you?
Taking from my word for the year which is roots, you know what I would like to see more in the future?
I would want to see Filipino Comic Heroes in diners like this.
More Mars Ravelo and Carlo J. Caparas creations, like:
Darna, Captain Barbell, Panday and Lastik Man
An idea like this would strike someone, as funny and un-thought of.
Or it may be something, someone might have thought of, but put aside.
It would not be that feasible may be. It would sound like an idiomatic expression, murdered many times over.
But well, “you can never can tell, sky’s the langit!”
