Abucay Natural Spring Resort in Sibol, Bataan, occupies a special place in my husband’s heart. My husband’s fondness, for this natural spring in Sibol, might be, what the river near our house, in the province, mean to me. My husband grew up in Manila, but this place is one of the places he used to go to, as a young child.
So many things, might have been added to the place, but for my husband it still is the same natural spring.
We were there, last year.
This year, we went back -with my son, I realized, significantly bigger and taller.
It has one giant pool and several kiddie size pools.
It is located uphill and surrounded by trees, -do expect leaves, falling on the pool. It does not have first class amenities, but if you are not looking for one anyway, then you could bring the whole neighborhood with you.
The storekeepers of my parents-in-law and their families, also came along.
It is best to go there earlier, so you get to have the pool for your selves.
It is not a high-end resort and it is relatively cheaper than most. But the nostalgia it brings my husband, is priceless.
