Mommy Bloggers Philippines is an on-line community, for mommy bloggers in the Philippines. I am proud to be part of the community and to be friends, with the hardworking mommies.
Mommy Bloggers Philippines had, its first ever, halloween party.
It was also, the first time that members from the community, met up as a group, and in a large number. As opposed to those few occasions, like PR events, where my dear mommy bloggers, bump into each other and say,
“AAAAAH ikaw pala si Mommy…( insert name of mommy, here). ” ” Ikaw yung mommy behind… “( insert name of blog and domain name here)”
Then the conversation progresses, with either person, mentioning the names of the other person’s children, or how the son is doing, or how the baking is going, just like they are the best of friends. ( Oh, but they are, -we are.)
(We share common ground . We know how it is ,when, the laundry is piling up, the uncleaned dishes do not seem to go away, the kids morph into Loki and the universe do not align with the planets.)
Yeah, that is mommy-blogger-talk. ( in a ” Ten Things Only Mommy Bloggers Understand,” sort of way)
I was privileged to have said, the opening prayer for the party.
Father God,
We thank you for all the blessings.
Today, we stand grateful, for the friendship we have formed, with other mommies.
We thank You, for bringing us, together.
We thank You, for providing us, the gift of community. Thank You for Mommy Bloggers Philippines.
Thank You for this get together. It will not only, help us, get to know other moms, but their families as well.
Kindly bless the people, behind Mommy Bloggers Philippines, give them wisdom and good health, so that, they may continue with their endeavor.
