My Three Wearable Nude Lipsticks
These are my day wear or errand lipsticks –the “emergency” lip colors tucked in my pocket or purse.
They are for moms like me who are in a hurry most of the time.
1. Mysterious Mocha

Mysterious Mocha by Maybelline is creamy. It glides when applied. However, it does not stay long on the lips. You have to re-apply.
True to its label, Mysterious Mocha has a natural shade of well, mocha.
However, when applied on the lips ( on my lips), it is more on the hues of blush, light pink and light brown.
Given my warm undertones, it was tricky for me to put on.When I wore it, it seemed barely there. But it still worked on me since the really nice subtle shades showed.
I thought of maybe putting lip gloss on top of it, next time. ( But then it just negates the “moms-like-me-who-are-in-a-hurry-most-of-the-time” bit)
This color from Maybelline is a new addition to my set of nude lipsticks.
I have worn them for a week now.
2. Girl Boss

This lip color from Happy Skin is more on the muted pastel of sorts. It belongs to the dainty color list—a soft bluish pink.
It is creamy matte so it glides along the lips and it is long-lasting.
When on my lips, it is more on the shade of coral pink.
It sits naturally on the lips. It surprisingly looked nice with my warm skin undertones. So this lip color should look good, on both kinds of skin undertones, warm and cool.
3. Mehr

I’ve used Mehr for a time now. It has been my go to lip color when reds do not make my day.
( Mehr seem to belong to the same set of swatches as Girl Boss.I guess that’s one reason why I am also a fan of Girl Boss.)
It has an opaque matte finish. It is long-lasting.
It is matte but it doesn’t feel like it.
It is not as drying. It seem to have a creamy matte finish, unlike Ruby Woo where I have to smudge it, with vaseline petroleum jelly.
On the Mac counter, it seemed to me as if it was a medium pink. But on my lips, it was more on the hues of mauve and coral pink.
Well, you really have to try lipsticks on, before you decide.
I have a nude brown skin tone, so the color pops out.
