Toddler Alert

Apart from the room’s state of disarray, major things have transpired in my life which made me say “toddler alert.”

Evidently, I have a toddler in the house.

Words now hold different meanings. ( gone were those definitions which thesaurus ordinarily provided me with.)

The word ” NO ” is inadvertently being abused, its powers boundless.

” STOP ” albeit its context, is now a word that has a long way to go, for it doesn’t end, as the word suggests it could.

“LATER” seemed to be synonymous with ” NOW “.

“WAIT” has simply lost its sense.

OPEN ” is always a prerequisite to “CLOSE” and when “CLOSE happens, “OPEN ” is not far away.

Punctuation marks have lost their meanings too.

I have disrespected the PERIOD.

My statements, which were intended to have a full stop, just couldn’t.

It seemed I have swallowed the “COMMA” for I just pause for a while, then, there I go again with my never-ending sentences.

Well, I think I am almost in that part, where the QUESTION MARK, will lord over my toddler’s speech.

I am preparing myself, for the arrival of WHAT, HOW, WHERE, WHEN AND WHY.

SYNTAX and GRAMMAR have flown out of the window, for I just utter a string of words like, STOP, NOT THERE, HERE, GO, TOLD YOU.

And with that, I was hoping the message went across.

GRAVITY they said, is what keeps the planets in orbit around the sun, but why couldn’t it keep my son still?

Now NEWTON’s 3rd LAW of MOTION states that every action has an equal AND opposite reaction.

But with my son, no such thing as equal, always the opposite.

Well COPERNICUS, Kepler and Galileo stated that the SUN is the center of the universe, nah, my SON just thinks he is.
