Glad and Well

I like this Man :

Malcolm Gladwell.

It is because just by seeing him makes me smile.

And I did make one of his book as reference for my post ” Trending .”

http://pierangeliangsen.blogspot.com/2011/06/trending.html

And he just has this uncanny resemblance to Philippine Singer-Songwriter :

Mr. Rey Valera . (whose songs are totally in my i-touch)

It’s like I expect Malcolm Gladwell to belt out:

Pangako sa ‘yo
Ipaglalaban ko
Sa hirap at ginhawa
Ang ating pag-ibig
Upang ‘di magkalayo
Kailan man
‘Pagkat ang tulad mo
Ay minsan lang sa buhay ko…

OR

‘Wag kang mag_isip ng ano pa man
Mga paliwanag mo’y
di na kailangan
At kahit ano
pa ang iyong nakaraan
Mamahalin kita
maging sino ka man

Malcolm Gladwell’s books hand out simple facts and point out some ordinary things in our lives that contribute to our personalities, daily decisions and self concept.

We might have different ways of seeing or understanding how he presents and how he argues for certain things but I appreciate how he labels them and defines them for readers like me.

His words are not too academic and thus making all his books easy on the mind if I may say so.

I am a fan because his written words have entertained me through the years..

1. The Tipping Point

2. Blink

3. Outliers

4. What The Dog Saw
