I Love the Baumann Bread Maker

“The smell of good bread baking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight.” M. F. K. Fisher.

All Rise.

The pandemic brought the much needed time to try new things.

Therefore, like most people I know, I started wanting to bake bread during the onset of the pandemic. I tried but failed to “ rise” to the occasion.
Most people I know however turned out to be excellent bakers, after.
It is just I am not most people. I didn’t have the patience, the dilligence and well, the time.

All You Knead is Time.

The first bread I made was made with my son. I had my brother all the way from Melbourne guiding us via video call. He gave us instructions on the traditional way of baking bread.

We were very excited.

It was a nice experience for my son most especially because he got to know the chemistry behind it all like fermentation or why the yeast started “feeding”.

It did look easy at first, till we got to the kneading part.

Although the bread was a success,
it was the kneading part that was really discouraging.

It took most of my time and muscles. Needless to say that it was our first and last attempt in bread making.

In baking, I know you cannot skimp on time.
You have to see the process through, from the rising, the proofing and the kneading. Hats off to the all the persevering bakers, really!

Despite that I still wanted to make bread, if only time and brawn were not key “ingredients”, so to speak.

The Best Thing Since Slice Bread.

Then the Baumann bread maker by Baumann Living, happened.

The breadmaker really got me at “ freshly baked” and “less time”.

I wanted one for myself.

The bread maker cuts half the effort. I could do other things while waiting for the bread to rise, fold, rest, proof, rise, shape and bake in the machine.

It is now convenient and time saving to bake bread with the bread maker in the kitchen.

It is ideal for home makers like myself who have our hands full.

You can have bread anytime you want.

It is also made for beginners like myself so that it is fail proof. It is easy to operate because you just simply combine the ingredients in a specific order. Then you push the the desired program and the desired settings for the bread size and crust, et voila!:

The fist bread I made was the basic bread using basic ingredients.

Size of the bread maker:
39.8 x 28.6 x 34.6 cm

The Baumann Breadmaker

It has a 14 digital program menus.
Its 13-hour programmable delay timer lets you add ingredients and begin the baking process later.

There is a selection button for loaf sizes : 1.5lb and 2.0lbs

As for the bread crusts it has light, medium and dark crust settings.

It comes with a large viewing window and LED display.

It has a single kneading blade

It has cool touch surfac and a Non-slip feet design

It comes with a
Bread Basket
Dough Hook

And the most important thing given the convenience it provides, it comes with an affordable price.
