Easter Sunday with the Family

Fortunately, aside from growing up with my own “wacky” family, I was also blessed to be part, of this big, fun-loving family.

Like all Easter Sundays, this Sunday was spent with the family –my husband’s side of the family that is. The entire family, spent Easter morning, at the house of my husband’s brother. My brother-in-law Chardy. Yes, that Chardy:

Talentadong Pinoy

He does not only train dogs effectively, but he is quite the handyman. (jack of all trades, man of all works) He transformed his rooftop’s lawn, into a recreational area, for the whole family to enjoy.

My son and my two nephews had a great time swimming.

My brother-in-law brought in, an Intex inflatable pool set for the children. Above the pool set, he pitched a canopy, which unfortunately, did a Scarlett O’ Hara, channelling Gone With The Wind.”

The canopy, was a canofly after all, as it almost flew away from the building.

( ’twas not only P999 worth of shade, flushed down the drain, but notably, my brother-in-law’s effort of putting it up, for the children )

Good thing that my husband’s youngest brother, was able to stop the flying canopy, on time. Had he not, then my father-in-law, who dozed off, on a reclining chair by the lawn, would have a lot of MMDA-explaining” to do.

(like, why ever did his family release, a magic carpet-like-object, over passing motorists)

Oblivious to all that, was my husband -who was in the music room, with an aunt and another sister-in-law. Great appreciation is accorded of course to our auntie, after a Bruno Mars number -as my mother-in-law chaffed her, for having brought in, the dark skies. ( clouds that were a momentary respite from the scorching sun, by the way)

I specifically and lovingly dedicate this blog post, to my sister-in-law Avic,

Nothing ostentatious but priceless. It was a Happy Easter with the #Fambam!

Thank You, Chardy, Avic and Nathan for having us.
